Let's Go There
You have been chosen
Ephesians 1:3-6 "Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ, just as (in His love) He chose us in Christ )actually selected us for Himself as His own) before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy (that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose driven) and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as (His own)children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the king intention and good pleasure of His will- to the praise of His glorious grace and favor which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved (His Son, Jesus Christ)."
We are already blessed with every spiritual blessing because we are united with Christ. As humans we desire to feel loved, seen , accepted and also feel like we belong. In Ephesians 1:4 the Lord tells us that we are HIS, we are chosen loved and also accepted. Matter of fact before we were even created He loved us . We can relax in His love because we are special to God and He has a special plan for us all. Nothing we will do will ever stop His love for us. His love is not dependent on our own merits nor efforts. God had a plan from the start which was for us to be adopted to Himself , as His very own child through Christ Jesus. Our identity isn't in something we do but in WHOSE we are - and that is God's beloved.

Healing is Here
Psalm 147:3 “ He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds ( healing their pain and comforting their sorrow)” Amp A promise of restoration . I would like to share a glimpse of my testimony related to this verse . Last year I had a surgery that almost took my life - if I’m honest it left me broken, angry and hurt . I remember one day the Lord bringing this verse to my attention and told me He was going to heal my heart and bind up my wounds.
Three months had went by and I still felt that same brokenness. I begin to question God , I begin to ask Him questions like “ when are you going to heal me - why is it taking so long - why did you allow this to happen , God you could have prevented this , I thought your promise said you heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds”.
I felt like a piece of me had been taken I felt like God has failed me although I knew and know for a fact that He is a Man of His word and what He says is what it is and what it will be but because I was hurt , broken , shattered and angry I begin to become discouraged and hopeless.
A couple months went by and one day I was at physical therapy and my therapist said something that stuck out to me she begin to explain how the body heals from the inside out. Then she begin to explain how God heals and how He tends to our bodies and how He created us so fearfully and wonderfully made, she also mentioned that healing takes time and that I needed to give my body time to heal. That day the Lord reminded of the promise He gave me in June of 2025 . Here it is July of 2026 , the Lord is actively healing me . In fact my healing started the moment I left that hospital. I just couldn’t grasp it because I was so full of hurt and so wounded but thats okay because there is no hurt too deep that He can’t handle.
There is no pain that you feel that you can’t be honest about to bring to Him. What I’ve come to peace with is that God really does heal us in any area we are hurting. I’ve come to the realization that healing takes time especially if those wounds are deep. Im learning that God isn’t distant but deeply attentive to our internal injuries just as He is to our external injuries. In my current season of my life I’ve come to realization that I don’t have to hide my pain from God , I don’t have to walk in the shame that my pain try’s to place upon me - because I know a great physician who is actively restoring me piece by piece . A gentle physician who is tending to my deepest needs .
Friend , I shared all that to tell you that no matter how shattered you may be , no matter how broken you may seem - no hurt is beyond repair . He stands ready to heal , restore and bring wholeness to your life one step at a time. The good news is that in our pain we can run to Him and rest in the truth that He heals , He binds up our wounds , He cares , He sees and He tends to those who are hurting whether that emotionally , spiritually, physically or mentally . He restores - let Him restore you.
